1920's Beauty Styling

Here are some 1920s hair and makeup tips, I hope you enjoy them.
Hair:
For long hair, the way to style it is: Start by tucking the bottom half up in to a bob and pinning it underneath,  leave  the top section out and curl it with a large curling tong, molding and pinning each crest in place as you go.  This will create a water wave style which then you heavily spray and pin the ends underneath to secure.
To create the straight look bob you can use a wig which you can accessorized with a 1920s head scarf.
Fact: The 20s saw a broad range of hairstyles. Firstly the bob, then the shingle, followed by the “The Eton Crop”
Eyes:
For the eyeshadow  apply Peacock by Bobbi Brown heavily on the mobile lid, softly blending it out and lightly smudging it under the bottom lash line. Contour the socket with Black Tied by mac and use Black Track Fluid Line by Mac along the top lash line for definition. Opt to leave the waterline clean to compliment her pale skin and hair. Lastly  apply mascara, mascara and more mascara and let’s not forget the lashes.
Fact: The first eyelash curler that hit the market was Mascara in a cake form and it was huge… poison green, black and turquoise were common colours worn on the eye.
1920's makeup
Cheeks:
Softly swept on Pinch o’ Peach by Mac.
Fact: Blush in the 1920s was applied on the apples of the cheeks and rarely blended.
Lips:
Exaggerat the peaks of top lip with Kryolan’s Lip Pencil 910 (a rich red) and line the bottom lip by filling out the sides to create a fuller bottom lip. Fill the lip in with Mac Ruby Woo and used a touch of Mac Russian Red gloss.
